Glass Half Full Tavern

Great Tuesday morning to YOU C TOWN…you know I love YA’ BIG CITY…how are YOU FRIEND?  We need to talk…after watching KC knock off San Diego my visions of the Browns starting 1-1 (yeah, I had them 2-0) are now getting hazy!  DANG, was it Romeo’s “D” that gave up allot of yards to Rivers then had the game winning GOAL LINE STAND down the stretch? Now, with all that, word out of KC is that THE RAIN HURT RIVERS and SD more than Romeo’s defense!

San Diego Quarterback Philip Rivers

REMEMBER this Jake and Seneca…the CHIEFS run “D” was great…the pass “D”…awful!  In fact, on the goal line stand MALCOM FLOYD was open twice but Rivers overthrew him on one and then he slipped on the 4th down toss!  STILL, it’s the “W”!!

Something else to note…KC thrived on the BIG play in the 3rd quarter, the CHARGERS out gained KC 127 yards to 38!!  Now, big plays?

* Running back Jamaal Charles had a 56 yard TD run on his second carry of the game AND’

* The 2010 version of the HUMAN JOY STICK, Dexter McCluster had a 94, yes NINETY FOUR, yard punt return, the longest in Chief’s history.  WHEW….

Did you notice too that Mark Sanchez did NOT walk on water last night vs the ravens or was it just me?

Enjoy every sandwich!

Adios amigos!
