A Six Pack of Predictions for Cleveland Sports in 2011

By Kenny Roda

Mike Holmgren will fire Eric Mangini and replace him with Mike Holmgren and bring in a new coaching staff to go with it.

The Browns will draft one of these 3 wide receivers A.J. Green, Justin Blackmon or Julio Jones with their 1st pick in the 2011 NFL draft.

Carmelo Anthony will get traded this season to the New York Knicks and sign a long term deal with the team due to the uncertainty of the new collective bargaining agreement.

The Cavs will end up with the worst record in the Eastern Conference, and the 3rd worst record in the NBA, but win the NBA Draft lottery and select Duke 6’2 point guard, Kyrie Irving with the 1st overall pick.

The Indians, who recently just resigned Austin Kearns, will get a productive 2 ½ months out of him before trading him once again for a prospect to help bolster the so called best farm system in Major League Baseball.

The Indians will not lose 90 or more games for the 3rd year in a row. Instead they’ll finish the season at 73-89. Baby steps people!
