See You There

By Kenny Roda

March Madness has already begun, as conference tournaments are under way.  For me this is the greatest, most enjoyable time of the year. Almost every game is do or die, a win-or-go home type of game, which is the best reality TV you can watch. It’s not scripted, it’s not edited, it just unfolds before our very eyes. This is when we find out who the real stars are. We find out which teams are contenders and which teams are the pretenders, and of course this is the time of the year that Cinderella always shows up somewhere, somehow, out of know where.  So if you’ve never been to March Madness in person, here’s your chance Clevelanders. It starts with the MAC tournament down at

“The Q” on Thursday with the quarterfinals of the Mid-American Conference, culminating with the men’s title game on Saturday night. That winner automatically qualifies for the “Big Dance.”  Here’s the big bonus for everyone in C-town this year. The 2nd and 3rd round games from the NCAA tournament are happening right here in Cleveland. That’s right! On Friday, March 18th and then Sunday, March 20th, you can be a part of the madness in person and see what all the hoopla is all about.  So go do something you’ve never done before and be a part of March Madness, you won’t regret it.  I’ve got my tickets and hotel room for downtown Cleveland, so I’ll see you there!

  1. Great time ! Best game I have ever seen was Kentucky vs St Bonnie in 2000. The atmosphere is unbelievable and worth the cash ! Went in 2000 and 2006 (?).
