What Did We Learn?

By Kenny Roda

In the 1’s vs 1’s, the Eagles led 17-0 at the half. Not encouraging for the Browns as both teams had starters out.

Colt McCoy looked very average and threw his 1st pick of the pre-season. He finished 9-18-89y-0td-1int.

Phil Taylor made an impact in the passing game with a sack and forcing a fumble on the 3rd play of the game and Jayme Mitchell recovered, but the Browns had a 33yrd FG blocked.

D’Qwell Jackson with a QB hurry and good hit on Michael Vick that led to an interception but was called back on a BS roughing the passer penalty.

Monterio Hardesty carried the football 5 times for 15 yards, but more importantly he walked off the field uninjured.

Brian Robiskie played well 3rec. for 23yrds and one catch called back on offensive pass interference that was a BS call.

Peyton Hillis looked good with 3 carries for 18 yards.

#49 – LB – Austin English with another sack. Coaches are noticing him.

Greg Little with 3 catches & fellow rookie Jordan Cameron 1 catch for 25yrds – Nice!

The Browns gave up 17pts off turnovers…..OUCH!

The Browns special teams were anything but special!

  1. Great job Kenny… Could not agree more…. Perhaps this team could use some Mangini lap running because they are making a TON of mental errors.
